Socrait is an AI-powered class assistant that takes what a teacher says in the classroom, as they normally teach, and turns it into meaningful data and actions. This data includes behavior data and actions around warnings and praises and so much more. Join the Community today to begin using Socrait in your class.
To set up an account as a new user, you will want to download the Socrait app to your mobile phone. TIP: Scan the QR code to download. Sign up using a personal gmail account or your school Google Workspace account.
Next, follow the prompts to enter your name, class name, and student voice names. You are ready to begin using Socrait!
Before class, open and log in to the Socrait mobile app. Press the purple “Stream” button to start streaming. Turn off the screen to save battery life. TIP: Don’t rapidly start and stop the app. It will confuse the AI workers. Keep Socrait running through the class duration.
Turn the phone upside down. Put it in the lanyard Socrait pouch. Teach your class. TIP: You don’t have to have a lanyard to use Socrait. If you are used to using some other wearable mic-enabled device with your phone, just make sure the mic is connected, and use that!
At the end of your class, stop streaming by pressing the square Stop button. TIP: It’s best to let Socrait stream for the entire class period and not start/stop the process.
Then go to socrait.app on your computer and log in to see your class data!
